The most recent acquisition of MAP Systems (MAP = Modified Atmosphere Packaging) completes the portfolio of the OYSTAR Group in the field of primary packaging solutions.
The patented MAP Systems technology is based on the delivery of very specific, non-abusive streams of inert or active gasses into the product and its primary package: cans, jars, bottles, vials, pouches, bags, trays, etc. The objective is to maintain freshness and to extend the products shelf life beyond the levels that is attainable through conventional packaging methods.
